What a THRILLER of a book. I’ll be honest, part of the reason that I haven’t updated this blog in so long is that I was in a serious funk in regards to reading. I went from reading over 50 books a year to hardly ANYTHING.
But, Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage brought that love of reading back to me!
Suzette is a young mother with an amazing husband and a seven year old non-verbal little girl. While her life looks perfectly in order, the strife between her daughter and her continues to escalate as the daughter ages. After numerous medical tests, Hannah decides that maybe it’s time to let her mother know exactly how she feels about her and evokes the voice of one of the last witches burned at the stake in France.
Chilling and a complete page turner, you are going to absolutely want to check this book out when it releases next month. I almost stayed up all night because I couldn’t put it down and HAD to find out whether or not Suzette was going to make it out alive.
